SUMMARY:1st DOORS Stakeholder Conference 
DESCRIPTION:The ‘Developing Optimal and Open Research Support for the Black Sea’ project is hosting the Black Sea Futures: Science\, Prosperity\, and People Conference from 23-24 April 2024 in Bucharest\, Romania. \n\n\n\nThis event will feature inspiring high-level panels\, interactive co-design workshops\, and a Black Sea research and innovation showcase\, including an MSP4BIO poster on “Gap analysis and needs assessment to sustain a better integration of biodiversity considerations in Maritime Spatial Planning for Western Black Sea Pilot Site“. \n\n\n\nParticipants are invited to attend on-site (no on-line participation will be possible). The conference will offer a unique forum to exchange views on the challenges and opportunities in the sustainable blue economy sectors\, the development of the Digital Twin Ocean\, training and capacity enhancement in the Black Sea\, Ocean Literacy\, and science-policy interface.

SUMMARY:2nd Mission Arena by Blue Mission BANOS
DESCRIPTION:Blue Mission BANOS’ 2nd Mission Arena will take place on 25-26 April in Riga\, Latvia. \nThe event will inspire\, engage and support a wide range of stakeholders across the Baltic and North Sea in making the Blue Economy carbon-neutral & circular by 2030\, in line with EU Mission Ocean’s objectives. \nThrough a wide range of interactive sessions\, workshops\, pitching events\, demonstrations and study visits\, the 1st Mission Arena will serve as a laboratory to (1) pave the way to innovative solutions\, (2) showcase local\, regional and national approaches to create a transition to a circular\, carbon-neutral blue economy in the Baltic and North Sea\, and (3) provide concrete pathways to Mission Ocean’s success in the area. \nThe 2nd Mission Arena will focus on the local and regional communities of Estonia\, Latvia\, Lithuania\, Finland and Sweden.
