Workshop 1: Connecting Seas – Cooperation and Tools for EU Marine Protected Areas

This workshop brings together EU-funded projects, including MSP4BIO, BLUE4ALL, BioProtect, Blue Connect, and MPA Europe, to foster collaboration and explore innovative marine conservation tools. MSP4BIO will present its strategic planning frameworks aimed at supporting marine ecosystem restoration, while other projects will showcase their solutions for challenges such as ecological monitoring, stakeholder engagement, and sustainable management of MPAs. Participants will explore synergies between projects and discuss collaborative opportunities in areas such as data sharing and joint stakeholder engagement.

Workshop 2: Leading the Way – Marine Nature Restoration Advancements, Challenges, and Needs in the North Sea Region

Workshop 3: Stakeholder Engagement in Innovative Marine Solutions – Marine Conservation Management, Financing, and Beyond

Effective stakeholder engagement is crucial for the success of marine management initiatives. This workshop will highlight innovative projects in the region, focusing on stakeholder engagement strategies in marine conservation, governance, and financing solutions. MSP4BIO will discuss its efforts in involving key stakeholders in strategic planning and ecosystem restoration. The featured speaker is Ivana Stojanovic, Team Lead and Senior Project Manager at the SUBMARINER Network for Blue Growth EEIG.
